"May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all"

I find that a lovely way to use this in meditation practice is to start with yourself, because it's easy to send loving kindness to yourself 🐵❤️
"May I be happy, may I be peaceful, may I be free"

Then, in your mind's eye, take a friend, acquaintance or 'enemy' and send them the same loving kindness:
"May you be happy, may you be peaceful, may you be free"
(If you're reading this, I'm sending my metta/loving-kindness to you right now for a content and productive day ahead 💆

Then expand your metta to all beings:
"May all beings be happy, may all beings be peaceful, may all beings be free" ☮️

And then go vegan mwahaha 😀

This is a really calming short practice that you can go through while brushing your teeth in the morning and then you get to feel all warm and compassionate to start your day ☺️🙏
