ASK Italian's Vegan Menu

ASK Italian's Vegan Menu

I recently headed to ASK Italian to try their vegan menu in collaboration for a giveaway we ran on Vegans of LDN. I thought I’d share my highlights here for anyone who wants a closer look at their vegan-friendly food!

We tried the butternut squash pizza with red onions, teeny tiny peppers, pumpkin seeds and vegan cheese. I’m usually really not a fan of pizza without tomato sauce - it doesn’t feel like a pizza anymore, considering the cheese switch and then a sauce switch too! - but this was done really well, and was still very cheesy considering it was dairy-free.

The tagliatelle was more like something I’d whip up at home - I think it needs a creamy sauce and some more texture. Maybe some pine nuts sprinkled on top.

The stars for me were actually the rosemary sea salt bread, the bean stew starter, and the chocolate orange torte. The bread had the perfect level of salt - moorish but not overpowering, the bean stew was great value (around a fiver), and the chocolate torte was rich and indulgent, and really smooth.
