Reconnect with nature and find stillness through movement at our five-night yoga & meditation retreat in rural La Salle, Burgundy.
Our yoga sessions will be suitable for all levels, with modifications for beginners. We will practise Vinyasa Flow & spine-focused Scaravelli yoga in the mornings, and Yin yoga in the evenings. Yoga will be held on the chateau grounds: we can expect warm sun and outdoor practice (in the woods), with large indoor spaces available if the weather takes us inside. Yoga will be led by Serena Lee: London-based 200RYT yoga teacher, Level 3 personal trainer, certified gym instructor and founder of vegansofLDN.
We’ll stay at Chateau La Salle’s B&B. La Salle is a quiet, 500-acre space filled with trees, a golf course, swimming pool and 14th century buildings. Expect to wake up to lots of birdsong!
Room options
Bedrooms 1, 2 & 3: double bed, en-suite - 2 guests each
Bedroom 4: double bed, no en-suite (sharing bathroom with dormitory guests) - 2 guests
Bedroom 5: single beds, no en-suite (sharing bathroom) - 6 guests
En-suite double bedrooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Option for single occupancy of double room available via email.
Transfers from & to Lyon airport will be arranged for you - details in the SCHEDULE section.
All food is included, and the menu will be 100% free from animal products.
Breakfasts will be prepared for you by the B&B.
All ingredients for lunch & dinner will be provided, with everyone coming together at mealtimes to cook and share the experience of healthy, wholesome food.

Pick up will be at 3pm from Lyon airport. If arriving by train, Macon is the closest station - please contact Serena to arrange train transfer.

(All activities are encouraged but optional - guests can have time to themselves as they please)
6:30 - Optional early morning meditation (sometimes this will be in silence; drop in)
7:00 - Pranayama (breathing exercises)/Kriya, Yoga Flow (Dynamic)
8:30 - Breakfast
10:30 - Optional mindful walk
12:30 - Preparing & having lunch
14:30- Free time or optional activity
17:00 - Yin Yoga (slow), Discussion/questions
18:30 - Preparing & having evening meal
Day 6: Wednesday 27/9
6:30 - Optional early morning meditation
8:00-9:00 - Yoga asana & breakfast
