This is a high-protein, coconutty, chocolatey smoothie that's full of goodness! Top it with cashews, coconut flakes and cacao nibs for extra indulgence, or omit the cacao nibs if you're going caffeine-free. This is vegan/dairy-free, gluten-free and soy-free, and it's also paleo-friendly.
Throw all the below ingredients into a Nutribullet and blend for about 20 seconds:
1 banana
1 scoop hemp/brown rice/pea protein - pure protein powders mixed together, but you can use your protein powder of choice! I like pure because I know exactly what's in it :)
1 cup Koko dairy-free coconut milk
2tbsp carob powder: this is caffeine-free, but feel free to use cacao powder for a slightly less sweet chocolatey taste
1 handful cashew nuts
1tbsp flax seeds (just for the omega 3)
Optional: desiccated coconut or coconut flakes
